Η Γκαλερί Ζουμπουλάκη σας προσκαλεί στην νέα ομαδική έκθεση με τίτλο, "Ink and Stone”, όπου ξεδιπλώνεται ο διαχρονικός διάλογος μεταξύ γλυπτικής και σχεδίου. Η έκθεση συγκεντρώνει μια συλλογή από εικαστικές αναφορές που εξετάζουν τη γλώσσα του σχεδίου και της γλυπτικής ως αλληλένδετες, ή ως παράλληλες.
Η στενή σχέση μεταξύ σχεδίου και γλυπτού γεφυρώνει αιώνες καλλιτεχνικής παράδοσης.
Στο "Ink and Stone” αυτό παρουσιάζεται μέσα από την σύμπλεξη σύγχρονων καλλιτεχνών, με ιστορικά έργα από τη συλλογή της γκαλερί Ζουμπουλάκη. Έργα που αλληλοσυμπληρώνονται και αντιπαραβάλλονται, απευθύνονται τόσο στην απτική, όσο και στην οπτική διάσταση που εμπεριέχεται στον κοινό χώρο μεταξύ των πεδίων του σχεδίου και της γλυπτικής· αποκαλύπτουν έτσι ενδιάμεσους, διαλεκτικούς χώρους, δημιουργώντας ένα πλαίσιο όπου το απτικό και το αιθέριο συγκλίνουν.
Τα σχέδια που καταλαμβάνουν τους τοίχους της γκαλερί, αποτυπώνουν είτε φευγαλέες στιγμές έμπνευσης, είτε σχολαστικές μελέτες που προσφέρουν κρυφές ματιές στην καλλιτεχνική διαδικασία, φανερώνοντας τη γένεση των ιδεών που τελικά παίρνουν μορφή μέσα από την μεταμόρφωση της αδρανούς ύλης σε γλυπτικές αφηγήσεις. Τα γλυπτά που παρουσιάζονται, ενσωματώνουν κλασικές δομές και παραδοσιακά στοιχεία, όπως το μάρμαρο και ο πηλός, αλλά και σύγχρονες τεχνικές, όπως τα found objects (αντικείμενα που βρέθηκαν), το τσιμέντο και ο γραφίτης.

Οι καλλιτεχνικές πρακτικές εμπλέκονται σε έναν διάλογο που διαχειρίζεται τις πολλαπλές νοηματικές διαστάσεις των υλικών, εξερευνώντας τις συνδέσεις και τις αντιθέσεις μεταξύ φορμαλιστικών και εννοιολογικών προσεγγίσεων και υφαίνουν μια αφήγηση που εξετάζει την εμβάθυνση στην επιφάνεια και την υλικότητα, σε αντιπαράθεση με την εστίαση στη γραμμή και τη μορφή.

Zoumboulakis Galleries invites you to the new group exhibition titled, "Ink and Stone”, where the timeless dialogue between sculpture and drawing unfolds. The exhibition brings together a number of visual references that examine the language of drawing and sculpture as interconnected, or parallel.
The intimate relationship between drawing and sculpture bridges centuries of artistic tradition.
In "Ink and Stone" this is presented through the merge of contemporary artists with historic works from the collection of Zoumboulakis Galleries. Works that complement and contrast each other, addressing both the tactile and the visual dimension contained in the common space between the fields of drawing and sculpture; thus revealing intermediate, dialectical spaces, creating a context where the tactile and the ethereal converge.
The drawings that occupy the walls of the gallery capture either fleeting moments of inspiration, or meticulous studies that offer hidden glimpses into the artistic process, revealing the genesis of the ideas that eventually take shape through the transformation of inert matter into sculptural narratives. The sculptures on display incorporate both classical structures and traditional elements, such as marble and clay, and contemporary references, such as found objects, cement and graphite.
The artistic practices are intertwined in a dialogue that harnesses the semantic variety of the dimensions of materials; exploring the connections and contrasts between formalistic and conceptual approaches, they weave a narrative that probes the immersion in surface and materiality, as opposed to the focus on line and form.
